My artistic process mainly consists of painting and drawing still life, portrait and natural imagery. The process makes me slow down and consider the world around me. Taking the time to observe creates a greater connection with people and nature. I encourage the audience to reflect on the detail, complexity and the inherent beauty of the subject. I approach everyday objects with sensitivity and respect. As a child I loved to draw and observe and have followed my passion into adulthood. I studied the Renaissance style of painting in Florence and continued to refine my skills at SOFA in Mosman. I particularly enjoy painting in oils, the slower process and vibrant colours are both challenging and rewarding.
